Description

Jerneh Asia Berhad

IT/IS Audit Department

Senior Executive
  • Tertiary qualification in IT and/or accounting qualification
  • Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) membership of the Information System & Control Association (ISACA) would be advantageous
  • Lead and conduct scheduled audits, consistent with Jerneh Asia Bhd (JAB) Internal Audit Dept. (IAD) vision & mission statement.
  • Issue independent appraisal reports on auditable segments / entities in JAB Group.
  • Draft annual audit plan in consultation with IAD Manager.
  • Update Jerneh Insurance Bhd (JIB) audit universe / programs in accordance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines.
  • Undertake systems based audits for the major financial and non-financial systems
  • Review controls, record retention practices, documentation and backup to ensure that computer systems are functioning properly
  • Assist in the preparation status report for Audit Committee (AC) meetings.
  • Review IAD staff monthly timesheets for proper allocation of staff’s man-hours to audited segments / entities.

Finance and Corporate Services Executive

  • Candidate must possess a Degree / Diploma in Finance/Accountancy. Able to handle full set of accounts including Group consolidation with sound technical knowledge in Group accounting, tax and finance
  • Prepare and analyze financial and management reports
  • He/she will be assisting in Group corporate planning and support corporate secretarial services.
  • Candidate needs to liaise with auditors, tax authorities, regulators, bankers and lawyers and ensure timely submission of management and statutory reports
  • Candidates with some experience in audit are preferable

Marketing Executive
  • Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably in a financial institution
  • Should have a preference in doing marketing with preferably a suitably gregarious coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Market the Company's financial products and services to individuals and companies
  • Ensure the provision of efficient and superior customer service
  • Ensure credit acceptance in line with Company's policies and guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Ensure proper and timely credit processing Maintain proper records
  • Any other duties as designated by the management

Marketing Executive

  • Candidate should have at least a Diploma or professional qualifications
  • Good communication skills in English Language
  • Good command in Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Should have at least 2 years related working experience
  • Responsible in servicing existing accounts
  • Able to liaise with claims, underwriter and ensure the company’s service standard are met
  • Should be able to develop business from existing portfolio
  • Assisting superior in any assignments given
  • Prepare quotations, renewals, collections, checking policies and endorsement
Risk Management Department
Loss Control Engineers/Risk Management Executive
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in a technical related field, preferably with experience in conducting site surveys
  • Methodical approach to investigating and assessing technical risks
  • Able to build rapport and communicate effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
  • Good report writing and correspondence skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good organization and time management skills
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia
  • Conduct detailed risk surveys of the properties / sites to be insured
  • Advise clients on potential improvements to mitigate the risk
  • Produce reports to assist insurance underwriters in their decision of risk acceptance
  • Conduct in-house and customer seminars on Risk Management

Risk Management Department
Enterprise Risk Management Analyst
  • Candidates should have a Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and with a minimum 2 years working experience in audit or similar experience
  • The person should supports the implementation of ERM framework in compliance with BNM’s requirements
  • He/she will be assisting in planning and conducting risk assessment sessions, coordinates data collection, analysis and reporting process of risk identification, developing and communicating ERM training and education initiatives
Motor Claims Department
Executive
  • Degree in LLB
  • With at least one year of working experience in accident and non-motor matters
  • To process bodily injury claims
    Assist in processing non-motor claims
Seremban Branch

Clerks

(2 positions)

  • Candidate should possess at least SPM qualification
  • The person will be responsible for clerical duties include processing documents, data entry, filing and internal/external dispatch
  • Those with experience in insurance industry will be an added advantage
