- Tertiary qualification in IT and/or accounting qualification
- Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) membership of the
Information System & Control Association (ISACA) would be
advantageous
- Lead and conduct scheduled audits, consistent with Jerneh Asia
Bhd (JAB) Internal Audit Dept. (IAD) vision & mission statement.
- Issue independent appraisal reports on auditable segments /
entities in JAB Group.
- Draft annual audit plan in consultation with IAD Manager.
- Update Jerneh Insurance Bhd (JIB) audit universe / programs
in accordance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines.
- Undertake systems based audits for the major financial and non-financial
systems
- Review controls, record retention practices, documentation and
backup to ensure that computer systems are functioning properly
- Assist in the preparation status report for Audit Committee
(AC) meetings.
- Review IAD staff monthly timesheets for proper allocation of
staffs man-hours to audited segments / entities.
