Department Position
Description


Underwriters - All classes of General Insurance
  • Candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma in any discipline or Professional qualification in Insurance related studies.
  • Must have at least 3 years underwriting experience in general insurance.
  • Must be IT savvy, meticulous and possess good analytical & mathematical/statistical acumen.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal & written) is essential.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and have good interpersonal/communication skills, coupled with good reporting skills.
NB: Seasoned professionals who are looking for management positions in liability underwriting, or motor underwriting may apply.
KL Branch Executive
  • Candidates should possess tertiary qualification in any disciplines or diploma in insurance or insurance related studies.
  • Should have at least 2 years working experience in the general insurance industry.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and have good interpersonal/ communication skills
  • It is expected that candidate should have an outgoing or gregarious personality, possess own transport and wiling to travel when required.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal & written) is essential
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (verbal & written) and ability to speak in Chinese dialects will be an advantage
Broking Department Executive
  • Candidate should possess tertiary qualification in any discipline or diploma in insurance or insurance related studies.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years relevant working experience in general insurance industry
  • Candidate with experience in handling extended warranty program would have an advantage
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal & written) is essential
  • Good team player with high level of drive, initiative and good interaction skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Well versed in Ms Office/Outlook
  • Candidate is required to service intermediaries in accordance to the agreed service standards
Motor Claims Executives
  • Candidates should possess tertiary qualification in any discipline or Diploma/Certificate in insurance or insurance related studies. However, those with automotive engineering qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Essential to have at least 2-3 years working experience in motor claims processing
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and have good interpersonal/English (verbal & written) communication skills
NB: One of the positions require incumbent to handle administrative and statistical work as well.
Credit Control
Assistant
  • Candidate should possess Diploma in Accounting/Business Studies/Commerce or a LCCI Certificate
  • He/She should have at least 1-2 years relevant working experience
  • Those with exposure in a General Insurance environment will have an added advantage
  • Must be IT savvy (MS Office, Ms Outlook)
  • Reasonable command of spoken & written English
  • Incumbent should be hardworking and possess good attitude
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and ability to converse in Chinese dialects will be an advantage
Property and Casualty Claims Department Assistant
  • Candidate should possess a Certificate/Diploma in any discipline or Certificate in insurance or insurance related studies
  • Preferably with at least 1 year related working experience in processing Personal Accident and Medical claims in a general insurance environment or life insurance
  • Must be PC literate with good typing and data entry skills. Well versed in Microsoft Excel/Word
  • Reasonable command of spoken & written English
  • Incumbent should be hardworking and possess good attitude
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and ability to converse in Chinese dialects will be an advantage
Jerneh Credit Leasing Marketing Executive
  • Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably in a financial institution
  • Should have a preference in doing marketing with preferably a suitably gregarious coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Market the Company's financial products and services to individuals and companies
  • Ensure the provision of efficient and superior customer service
  • Ensure credit acceptance in line with Company's policies and guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Ensure proper and timely credit processing
  • Maintain proper records
  • Any other duties as designated by the management
