In our bid to better our services we are pleased to provide our customers with our comprehensive emergency response service – Jerneh
Helpline. Various aspects of service are provided under our Jerneh Helpline. It is hoped that you will find in it the necessary valuable tips should any unfortunate need arises.
BENEFITS AND SERVICES 6 Months Warranty Our panel workshops ensure quality of repairs on the vehicles and provide a 6 months’ warranty for all repairs carried out by them. A Warranty Certificate will be issued by our panel workshops. Jerneh 24 Hours Toll Free Line and Hotline Two dedicated tele-service lines (Toll free line, 1 300 88 0128 and Hotline, 603-2116 3366) will be manned by our experienced customer service officers to provide claims, home assist and roadside assistance services. Free Towing Service Jerneh Helpline pays for your towing charges when your car breaks down including minor road side repair (labour only) if necessary, up to RM200. If you are involved in an accident and towing is required, Jerneh Helpline pays for the towing fees up to RM200. Alternative Travel Assistance Referral If your car cannot be repaired on time and travel schedule might be delayed, Jerneh Helpline shall assist in organizing some means of transport for you to carry on with the journey. All expenses and related charges shall be borne by you. Hotel Accommodation Assistance Referral When your car breaks down and you require hotel accommodation, Jerneh Helpline may at your request assist in providing information on hotel accommodation. All expenses and related charges shall be borne by you. Interpreter Services Interpreter services is also provided for medical reasons. Medical Referral Upon your request Jerneh Helpline will make appointment on your behalf or refer you to any clinic or medical centre of your choice. All expenses and related charges shall be borne by you. Transmission of Information In the event of an emergency, Jerneh Helpline will upon request keep your immediate family members or employer informed of any urgent situation. However, Jerneh Helpline shall not be liable for non-delivery of message if the recipient cannot be located. Repatriation of Vehicle Assistance Referral If the vehicle repair cannot be carried out locally or in a workshop, Jerneh Helpline shall tow the vehicle to your house/residence. All expenses and related costs in excess of RM200 shall be borne by you. Chauffeur Assistance Referral If you are not able to drive your car home after an accident or you do not want to leave your car at the place of accident, Jerneh Helpline will assist in arranging a qualified chauffeur to drive the vehicle back to your home/residence. All expenses and related costs shall be borne by you. Emergency Medical Evacuation Assistance If medically necessary, Jerneh Helpline will evacuate you from the place of injury to the nearest medical centre or hospital. All expenses and related costs shall be borne by you. Legal Assistance Referral If a civil prosecution proceeding is brought against you by a Third Party due to an accident, Jerneh Helpline will assist you to obtain legal representation. All expenses and costs shall be borne by you. 24 Hours Police Assistance Should you encounter an emergency or distress situation which requires police assistance, e.g. a car theft, robbery or road bully incident, Jerneh Helpline will be able to provide you with the address and telephone numbers of the nearest police station. Endorsement 106 To better manage and provide good customer claims service, the following clause is incorporated in your policy. “In the event Your Vehicle is involved in an accident and give rise to a claim, Your Vehicle must be removed to a PIAM Approved Repairers Scheme (PARS) Workshop selected and approved by Us for repairs. Failure to remove Your Vehicle to an approved workshop would be a breach of Endorsement 106 and We shall have the right to decline liability under Section A of this Policy.” Note: All expenses and related charges are to be borne by you unless otherwise stated. HOME ASSIST SERVICES Electrical Wiring Repairs In the event of any electrical wiring or device failure at the Insured's place of residence, Home Assist shall organize and despatch a competent electrician to effect repair work.
Plumbing Repairs Home Assist shall arrange for a competent plumber to repair the faulty water apparatus in the event of :
Air-Condition Service & Repairs
Locksmithing If an Insured is unable to access their place of residence by reason of not being in possession of their home keys or accidentally locked themselves out, Home Assist shall organize and arrange for a Locksmith to assist the Insured to resolve the problem. This service also covers inaccessibility to drawers, cupboards, etc in the Insured's home. Pest Control Services If Insured home is infested with pests such as termites, rodent, roaches and etc. We shall arrange competent specialist to resolve the problem. Leaking Roof In the event that Insured's place, home or resident roof leaking, we shall arrange a competent specialist to resolve the problem. Cleaning & Restoration of Carpets & Furniture In the event of the Insured's carpets or furniture is stained or requires spring cleaning, Home Assist shall arrange a specialist to assist in resolving the problem. If the roof of the Insured's home is leaking and requires urgent repair, Home Assist shall arrange for a competent provider to attend to the leakage and repairs. Please note that Home Assist Services shall be arranged by us. However, all expenses and related cost shall be borne by you. 5 REASONS FOR EVERY HOME TO HAVE HOME ASSIST SERVICES:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS a) The services and benefits set forth here are exclusively for Motor Comprehensive Insurance Policyholders of Jerneh Insurance. b) Any information set forth hereto is subject to changes without prior notice to be made thereto. Jerneh Insurance through Jerneh Helpline shall not be held liable for any changes made thereafter which may cause losses or injury to the Policyholders in anyway whatsoever. c) Jerneh Insurance through Jerneh Helpline reserves the right to amend, alter or delete any of the information set forth hereto without having to assign any reasons or to give prior notice to such effect. d) The services and benefits offered hereto are valid for the full duration of the motor policy. e) The services and benefits offered hereto applies to Motor Comprehensive Insurance Policyholders. (private motor vehicle, commercial vehicle below three (3) tons and motorcycle.) f) Jerneh Helpline services and benefits shall be provided in the following areas:-
